A Royston man, who is set to run the London Marathon pushing a model replica of an RAF plane, would like to thank townsfolk for getting him one step closer to his fundraising target.
Craig McMurrough collected cash from shoppers at Royston Tesco for the RAF Association and RAF Benevolent Fund.
He said: “Thank you so much to the shoppers and staff for your generous support towards my chosen charities. You contributed a massive £600 to my target which is amazing. Training is going well, albeit at the tapering stage – so light short runs and cardio – with under two weeks to go.” You can donate at mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/craigmcmurrough2.
