The owner of a Royston craft shop is smiling from ear to ear after a successful yarn shop day on Saturday.
Laura Whitford had crafters young and old knitting and learning the ropes in crochet at her shop No.3 Royston in Melbourn Street.
She said: “Our first Yarn Shop Day went really well.
“Anne Walls and Georgina ‘Granville’ Keating did a brilliant job teaching the children to knit and crochet and the amazing Sue Hawkes made some delicious cakes for us. Thanks so much to everyone who came in to support us.”
There were also competitions and lashings of cake for everyone who got involved. To find out more, go to www.letsknit.co.uk/yarnshopday.
