A Melbourn man undertook a wading challenge to raise awareness of ME or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome to support sufferers such as his wife.
The target was to wade 6.4km in four hours at Melbourn Sports Centre and Euan Rintoul managed 7.02km in that time.
Euan’s wading challenge was chosen to try to replicate one of the symptoms that people with ME, like wife Sarah, invariably suffer.
The exhausting feeling of wading through water is like walking through treacle, a feeling people with ME are all too familiar with.
As well as his sponsors, Euan would like to thank Graham Johnson-Mack and his team of duty managers, life-guards and swim coaches at Melbourn Sports Centre. Click here.
