Leprechauns, lucky shamrocks and plenty of Guinness were said to be the order of the day when 11 members of Royston Runners took to the streets of Ireland for the Dublin Marathon.
Along with their loyal supporters the team flew out a few days before in preparation for the event giving them all time to tour the area and sample the delights of the local hospitality before hitting the road for the 26-mile run.
A team spokesperson said: “Everyone had a fabulous time and it was a privilege for Royston to be represented at such a prestigious event.”
