The Corvus Amateur Drama Society has been busy over the summer preparing for their next production, Pygmalion – performed as part of the Royston Arts Festival.
The building of the set is nearly complete, but they are missing one prop.
CADS director Emma Shaw is appealing to the community for assistance.
She said: “We would like to complete the study room for Professor Higgins by having a leather armchair, similar in style to a Queen Anne Chesterfield.
“We have a limited budget and cannot find one to buy within our price range.
“We were wondering if anyone had one we could borrow for two weeks in September? As a sign of our gratitude, to whoever could help, we would like to offer a free ticket to see one of the performances!”
If you can help email cadssecretary@gmail.com. Performances at Meridian School take place on September 21 to 23, starting at 7.30pm. You can get tickets at cadsroyston.org.uk.
