Royston Town ran out comfortable 4-0 winners over Biggleswade Town in their Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division contest at Garden Walk.
Here are our player ratings.
Royston Town
Josh Tibbets: 7.5 - Excellent when called upon. Patrols his area well and not afraid to come off his line to close the angle down when confronted with one-on-ones. Brave too when flying out to block Parker in a juddering, no quarter asked nor given challenge.
Aidan Dawson: 7 - Solid game. Always looked to play forward when he could. Brave as can be after shrugging off a knock to the head which would have had weaker players in hospital for concussion.
Romelle Alomenu: 7 - Perhaps needed to show more composure when shooting but gave his all in a full-blooded match.
Scott Bridges: 7.5 - Consistency personified from the Crows captain. Claimed the first goal of the match after two deflections in a crowded area.
Adam Murray: 7 - Put in a shift as ever.
Sam Gaughran: 7 - Good battle with Kaziboni at times.
Rohdell Gordon: 7 - Always looked to supplement attacks and fired in dangerous crosses which threatened the Waders backline.
Lee Chappell: 7 - Absorbing battle with Coulson throughout this hard-fought match. Assist for Marriott’s strike.
Adam Marriott: 8 - The former Stevenage forward has been in superb form this season. A real eye for goal and excellent movement on and off the ball. Showed a predators instinct in firing home The Crows second goal.
Scott Thomas: 7 - Performed admirably in a deep lying role.
Martel Powell: 7.5 - Wonderful quick feet, flair and vision. Just needs to impose himself more.
Biggleswade Town
Patrick Sinfield: 7 - This impressive 17-year-old performed heroics against the champions Hereford in a debut neither he nor anyone at Langford Road will forget on Tuesday. Boss Chris Nunn told this correspondent before the match he was proud of the Hoddeston youngster plucked from their academy. The teenager, of course, has a lot to learn but will be far better for the experience he is rapidly gaining in the unforgiving environment that is men’s football. Needs to work on his handling and aerial work but that will come with time.
Mark Coulson: 6.5 - Tough battle with the Crows Chappell.
Lucas Perry: 7 - This highly-rated 20-year-old defender has ambitions to play at a higher level. No reason why not with the pace and touch he possesses.
Reece Fielding: 7 - Relished the aerial challenge as befits the tall centre-half on loan from Doncaster. Will have learned a lot from his spell with the Waders. Excellent leap on him.
Nathan Hicks: 7.5 - Solid and uncompromising as ever from the former Kettering man.
Connor Hall: 6.5 - Put in a shift as ever though may want to work on his delivery.
Greg Kaziboni: 7.5 - Always impresses with his undoubted talent but perhaps needs to channel his ability into influencing matches more. Wonderful ball that sent Bowen through. Moment of the match.
Robbie Parker: 6.5 - Brave, as witnessed by his full-blooded challenge on Crows keeper Tibbets.
Jack Bowen: 6.5 - Not as influential as he would have liked. Should have scored when sent through by Kaziboni although he was unlucky when his point blank effort was saved by Tibbets.
Tony Burmett: 7 - Tall, leggy striker showed good movement in and around the box but was not as influential as he would have liked to have been.
George Bailey: 7 - Perhaps needs to show a tad more composure when in advanced positions.
