Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of an 87-year-old man who has gone missing from Royston – and have this morning appealed for the public’s help in finding him.
Samuel Spruce was last seen at his home in Royston at 11.30pm last night – and left wearing pyjamas with a grey coat and brown trousers.
Mr Spruce is described as being 5ft 7in tall and of chunky build, with short brown curly hair, facial stubble and glasses.
A police spokeswoman said: “Officers are very concerned for Mr Spruce’s welfare and anyone who believes they have seen him since he went missing is asked to contact Herts police via 101.
“If you believe Mr Spruce is with you or have seen him in the last few moments please call 999 immediately.”
