Shoppers turned out for a Christmas Craft Fair in Melbourn, which was organised by the village’s community hub and a Royston charity.
The crowds were treated to a selection of handmade items, including greeting cards, jewellery, household items, and clothing.
The craft fair was organised in collaboration with the Nicola Emmerson Trust – which looks into sudden cardiac death in under 35s, and was set up to in memory of Nicola who tragically died while out celebrating her 20th birthday.
Her mother Julie was at the fair with her own fundraising stall.
John Travis, chair of the trustees group that run Melbourn Community Hub, said: “This is the second year that we have hosted this Christmas fair showcasing local craftspeople and the amazing range of their beautiful seasonal products.
“Stallholders, again this year, commented on how welcoming the hub was – and, judging from the number of customers, everyone must have had a very successful day! What an excellent prelude to Christmas.”
