More than 120 tonnes of hay caught fire this morning (Friday).
Fires occurred in two separate hay stacks, 800 meters apart, at 10.19am on Northfields Road, Ashwell.
Two fire engines, one from Royston and another from Letchworth and Baldock, are currently working to stop the fire spreading.

Update 1pm: Fire break have been made to prevent the fire spreading and the hay stacks are being allowed to burn out.
