The wealth of young talent in Letchworth’s schools will be showcased in two free exhibitions at the town’s arts centre.
The centre’s main gallery is displaying work by A-Level Art students from Fearnhill and Highfield schools from today, Thursday, and you’ve got a month to take it all in before their creations are packed away.
And in the Foyer Gallery, an exhibition of work by girls of St Francis College in Letchworth explores blended oil pastels to achieve a technique similar to that employed by the great Impressionist artist Monet.
The project started as part of a geography topic looking at the portrayal of water and rivers by two artists, Monet and Andy Goldsworthy.
The exhibition begins on Tuesday, and also runs until Monday, February 26.
