A tribute team which has been criss-crossing the country for the last decade recreating the music of one of the biggest bands of the 1970s and 1980s is marking the milestone in the way they know best – with another tour.
The ELO Experience 10th Anniversary Tour rolls into Stevenage’s Gordon Craig Theatre next Saturday, March 18.
Between 1972 and 1986 Jeff Lynne & The Electric Light Orchestra racked up more UK and US Top 40 hits than any other band on the planet, blending pop and classical influences to create a string of tunes which remain popular to this day.
Smash hits like Evil Woman, Living Thing, Diary of Horace Wimp, Don’t Bring Me Down and Mr Blue Sky are still part of the soundtrack of our lives.
The ELO Experience includes a stunning light show and large screen projection to add to the band’s note-perfect rendition of the iconic songbook.
Tickets are £23, call 01438 363200 or visit www.gordon-craig.co.uk for more details.
