You might find the falsetto a bit grating at times but there’s no denying that the Brothers Gibb have always known how to knock out a tune that will get toes tapping and hips swaying.
As songwriters and performers they’ve secured their place in the pop pantheon, and inspired all sorts of acolytes – including a tribute show which rolls into Stevenage on Saturday night.
The curtain goes up on the Nights On Broadway show at 7.45pm, and fans are promised a canter through four decades of hits.
A spokesman said: “This show gives the audience the experience of being at a Bee Gees concert, with a unique blend of classic hits, acoustic medleys and dance floor fillers.”
And guest artists join the band of brothers on stage, performing some of the songs that they penned for the likes of Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion and Diana Ross.
Tickets are £19.50, visit www.gordon-craig.co.uk or call 01438 363200 to check on availability.
