A car caught fire on the A505 between Baldock and Royston at the weekend, with two crews sent to extinguish the flames.
Yesterday at about 1pm, a Baldock & Letchworth fire crew, and another from Royston, attended and dealt with the blaze, before the vehicle – a silver Ford Fiesta – was recovered.
A rolling road block was put in place by police while the fire – which happened past the Odsey turning heading towards Royston – was extinguished and the vehicle was moved to the side of the road. No-one was injured.
