Organisers of the inaugural Cool Britannia Festival have added Feeder and Razorlight to the 2018 line-up.

The music festival celebrating the epic ’90s Britpop era will take place in the grounds of Knebworth House from Friday, August 31 to Sunday, September 2.

Welsh rockers Feeder, who enjoyed hits with Buck Rogers and Seven Days in the Sun, will play the main stage on Saturday, September 1.

This won’t be the first time Feeder have played Knebworth as they were on the bill for the first Sonisphere Festival at the Hertfordshire stately home back in 2009.

Indie band Razorlight, who topped the UK charts with single America in 2006, will play the main stage at Knebworth on Sunday, September 2.

Like Feeder, Johnny Borrell’s band Razorlight are no strangers to Hertfordshire, having headlined the Wilkestock Charity Music Festival at Frogmore Hill, near Stevenage, last year.

This year’s Cool Britannia headliners at Knebworth are Happy Mondays on the Saturday and Ocean Colour Scene the following night.

The festival’s latest additions join the stellar supporting cast of Embrace, The Lightning Seeds, Peter Hook & The Light, Cast, Heather Small, Dodgy, Space, Toploader and The South on the main stage.

The festival will also see the premiere of Britpop Classical, which will feature a full orchestra together with rock band and guest soloist including The Farm’s Peter Hooton, Republica singer Saffron and Heaven 17 vocalist Glenn Gregory, with others to be announced.

They will be performing unique versions of Britpop classics.

Cool Britannia has also teamed up with the legendary Ministry of Sound.

Housed in the Big Top, this stage will feature some of the best club DJs of the era including Todd Terry, Brandon Block, Jazzie B, Dave Pearce, Terry Farley and Alfredo.

Each night there will be appearances by a host of club classic stars including Black Box, N-Trance, Rozalla, Alison Limerick, Angie Brown and Urban Cookie Collective.

Outside the rocking arena, Cool Britannia will include camping, glamping, street food, themed bars, street entertainers, funfairs, a kid zone, fireworks, trade stands, karaoke and much more.
