TOWN councillors are calling for the bridge at Royston railway station to be strengthened. Members of Royston Town Council's finance and general purposes committee agreed on Monday evening that the bridge should be reinforced rather than a 17 tonne weight limit imposed. The option was supported because a weight limit would have an effect on lorries delivering to premises in Kneesworth Street.
