A PRACTICAL parenting group aimed at supporting parents with anti-social children will not be set up in Buntingford due to a lack of cash. Buntingford Town Council was in support of the scheme, but was unable to get a grant from East Herts District Council to cover the costs. Deputy town clerk Eddie Plume said: "The district council doesn't believe there's a call for it in Buntingford. But if we had got funding we would have investigated the scheme further to see if there was a need in the town." A district council spokesman said: "If the situation changes and we feel there is a need for a group in Buntingford we will review it.
