PUPILS at Foxton Pre-School were given a taste of the orient on Monday when they celebrated the Chinese New Year. A dragon, Chinese takeaway and learning to write in Chinese were all on offer. Playgroup leader Pip Deas said: "The children absolutely loved it. "The children learnt how to eat with chopsticks, say 'happy new year' in Chinese and even made a dragon. "We're always looking to introduce them into different cultures and the Chinese New Year is so colourful and bright that it's great for them. "It really enthrals them.
