A CONCERT to celebrate the life of Malcolm Pointon will take place on Saturday and remember his work as a talented musician.
Malcolm died in February after a 15-year battle with Alzheimer's.
He and his wife Barbara did a lot in that time to raise awareness of the condition.
Malcolm was a former tutor at Homerton College, Cambridge.
Barbara says the concert, to be held at the college will be "the most fitting tribute".
She said: "It will feature the music he loved most, including jazz, modern pop, non-western, and classical.
"It will give everyone a chance to remember Malcolm and celebrate his life as a person and as a musician."
The concert will take start at 2.30pm and will include anecdotes of Malcolm's life and some of the 500 pieces that he wrote.
