THERE was a real buzz about the Ashwell at Home show at the weekend.
Ashwell at Home sees residents and organisations open their doors to the public.
One of the most popular events was a display of beekeeping by Stuart Greenbank.
Sarah Talks, from the Ashwell at Home organising committee, said: "Stuart often writes about his bees in the parish magazine so I think a lot of people were interested to see them.
"That's what Ashwell at Home is all about, letting people see parts of the village that they otherwise wouldn't be able to access."
Ashwell Museum also opened its doors, while crowds flocked to the working sheep dog display. There was also the chance for visitors to sample the view from the top of St. Mary's Church tower.
Mrs Talks said: "With the lovely weather all the gardens, including the pub beer garden, were very popular."
Profits from the weekend will be split between the church, museum, and village school.
