PUPILS at a village school welcomed some special visitors all the way from West Africa.
Lawrence Owusu and Valeria Okai spent the day at Petersfield Primary School in Orwell where they told the children stories.
The day was part of the school's bid to continue its International status which it must reapply for every three years.
Lawrence said: "We were telling the children the stories of Anansi the spider.
"He's a very important character in Ghanaian folklore, and when we were children we used to hear the stories all the time on television, or from our parents and grandparents.
"The pupils seemed to really enjoy it.
