SHIVER me timbers… pupils from Bassingbourn Primary School took to the high seas for some swashbuckling fun. Children from Years 3 and 4 have been making treasure chests and maps, parrot collages, designing pirate jewellery, and going on a treasure hunt.

Children from Years 3 and 4 have been making treasure chests and maps, parrot collages, designing pirate jewellery, and going on a treasure hunt. Teacher Charlotte Wilkins said: "On our last day all the children made a big effort to come dressed as some very scary pirates, to round off the topic.
