HARRY Potter, Moses and Alice in Wonderland all paid a visit to one Royston School as part of World Book Week.
Pupils at Icknield Walk First School dressed up as book characters for the day, and held a second-hand children's book sale.
Marilyn Jones, head teacher at the school, said: "Everyone joined in the day and the children thoroughly enjoyed it.
"The reception staff even dressed up as Goldilocks and the Three Bears between them."
The staff and pupils raised £250 which will be used to buy books for the school.
