BARLEY held its annual village show on Saturday, including the 120th open flower show.
The flower show, which was first held in 1884, is organised by Barley Horticultural Society Gardening Club.
And this year there were more than 400 entries, including a whole marquee dedicated to children's entries.
Gardening club secretary Vi Moxey said: "The entries in the flower show were up on last year, and the standard of the exhibits was superb.
"The team would like to thank all the many people who helped to make the day such a success."
The event also included a horse show and dog show, a bar, raffle, barbecue, and stalls selling tea, coffee, and home-made cakes.
Mrs Moxey added: "It is a traditional show, and it always will be.
