YEAR 11 students at Melbourn Village College arrived for their end of year prom evening on Friday in an array of classic motor vehicles.
More than 150 pupils turned up in stretch limousines, classic American cars and even an armoured personnel carrier.
And a pink London taxi and 1950s Bedford bus also joined the procession.
The students then enjoyed dinner, which was served by members of staff, an awards ceremony, and a disco.
Gary Pullen, the Head of Year 11, described the evening as relaxed and happy.
He said: "The students enjoyed their arrival in all the different vehicles.
"They also enjoyed the fact that the staff waited on them at the tables."
The evening was organised by a committee of 12 students.
