MAY I through The Crow thank all the organisers and contributors of the Royston Arts Festival for a fantastic weekend enjoyed by our whole family.
Our children thoroughly enjoyed the music and storytelling in the Market Hill Rooms on Saturday morning. Then the older two and their friends had a great time taking part in the art workshop at the museum.
On Sunday, we took advantage of the offer of a family portrait for £2 (how's that for a bargain), then we took our place in the park to listen to the music provided by the town band.
We were aware of the problems caused by the council closing off the roads, but most people seemed to use their common sense and find other places to park.
So let's not let this hiccup detract from the obvious and clear success of the weekend.
Well done Royston, you played a blinder.
