GIVEN the urgent calls to reduce carbon emissions we are astonished by Royston Town Council's objections to an assessment of wind resources in Litlington.
Surely we should allow the study to provide the facts of the situation and then if the site proves a viable one, welcome such a progressive and educational scheme to our area.
Our children and their friends delight in seeing wind turbines. Rather than a blot on the landscape, should they be seen as a beacon for a sustainable future?
