Concerning the debate on the Royston underpass, let us forget that this has been the dream of some for 30 years and instead look at the numbers that will benefit, and the alternative ways 3million could be spent for Royston residents.
It has been quoted by ex-councillor Drake that the underpass would be used by 200 people per day.
Maybe if the money was to be used to improve the dying High Street this would benefit all Royston residents, as well as bringing new jobs and extra revenue for the council.
I urge the powers that be to rethink before it is too late.
