The Lions Club of Royston would like to thank all the parents and children who helped to make the kite workshop such a success at the Kite Festival on Sunday.
All day the tent echoed with the sound of happy children (and parents) making and painting their kites.
The event proved to be so popular that well over 100 kites were made and by late afternoon all the kite making materials ran out, and we are sorry for any disappointment this may have caused.
