CAN I take the opportunity to thank the readers of The Crow for being so generous in offering their scythes and handles to the Ashwell Village Museum.
The sheds and barns of the district must all have a scythe in the corner that has not been used for a long time.
I am sorry that we could not take up all the offers, but we will soon be able to put on display a good example that comes from Ashwell.
