I WOULD like to thank the people of Royston for their generosity.
The ActionAid street collection on October 14 raised £320, which is a wonderful result. ActionAid works in more than 35 countries. The local group is currently supporting projects in India - helping manual scavengers to find alternative employment - and Zimbabwe, helping the 1.8 million people living with HIV/Aids to grow nutrient rich vegetables).
