THE picture here of two hooded crows was taken last week in the car park of the Cecilienhof Palace in Potsdam in Germany. This was where Winston Churchill met Joseph Stalin and Harry Trueman to decide on the division of Germany after the Second World War.

The picture poses the question of when was a hooded Crow last seen in or around Royston?

- It's an interesting question and certainly the hooded crow - otherwise known as the Royston Crow - has not been seen in the area for a considerable time.
The British Ornithologists' Union says the hooded crow can be seen in parts of Scandinavia, Denmark and in northern Italy.
If you have seen a hooded crow then let us know. You can e-mail postbag@royston-crow.co.uk
