THE Alexandra Rose Day collection held on June 23 in Royston town centre raised £188.
Of this sum, 10 per cent was sent to the Alexadra Rose Day Special Appeal Fund and the net proceeds have been given to Royston Action on Disability for its work for the social needs of physically handicapped people in Royston and the neighbouring villages.
The local organiser, Mrs P Franks, is most grateful to all who so generously contributed and to all the helpers who kindly gave their time to make the collection possible.
