Position between two windmills. Very lively, but no-one hurt. Took some souvenirs off some dead Germans.

We were informed that in a few days it was likely the war would end. If no Armistice, we would carry on.

We should take part in a great "push" and from the staff that were coming up in support we fully realised that it would be some push. Tanks, both British and French, French cavalry and Americans. Guns, hundreds of them.
