MAY I add my support to Royston's retailers and point out to those who insist on increasing parking charges that they have shot themselves in the foot, yet again.

I will not shop anywhere that requires me to pay to park. As a consequence I have not visited Royston for almost five years.

If a town wants shoppers to spend their money, then it should welcome them not charge them.
