Ingredients 2 fresh tuna steaks, about 150g (6oz) each One 4cm cube of fresh ginger root 3 large ripe tomatoes 2 tbsp olive oil Salt and black pepper Method Brush tuna steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Pre-heat grill to fairly hot. Peel ginger root and slice thinly. Put the tuna steaks in grill pan on top of the ginger slices. Halve the tomato and brush with the olive oil, sprinkle with a little salt, and place in grill pan around the fish. Grill the fish and tomatoes for about 15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through. Transfer the fish to a warm plate. Pour the tomatoes and ginger slices and any remaining liquid into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour over the fish and serve hot.
