EVERY member of the Royston Area Sub-committee seems to be against the idea of bingo sessions at the Priory cinema - but when they met last Thursday they were unable to find grounds for objection.
In the end, it was suggested that they defer the matter for a month to give them time to formulate reasonable grounds for refusal.
The application had been put in by Glomel Entertainments for the use of the building for bingo, possibly on four evenings a week, depending on the demand from local residents.
