A GOLD necklace was presented to Barbara Charter at the annual meeting of the club when she retired after 30 years as secretary.
The club is still looking for a new secretary, members were told.
Reports of the past year's activities were given by Mrs Charter, treasurer Wendy Chamberlain, and chairman Brian Chamberlain.
The club held a buffet to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary of Iris and Don Elliot, during which a gift from members was presented to them.
