THANK you to everyone who made the effort to attend North Herts District Council's area committee meeting in the town hall on Wednesday.
We went to hear a report on the funding of concessionary fares for the elderly and disabled bus permit holders.
It was recommended that as from the second week in May we will once again be able to travel into Cambridge at half-price normal fare.
This will please a lot of pensioners who do not have their own transport. Isn't it amazing what can be achieved.
