WHAT is happening to Royston?
I moved here six years ago from Ware, and have gradually found the town falling apart.
When I first came here there was a Dewhurst and small veg shop, a lovely cafe.
Why did our district council allow the Twigden Estate and expansion of Tesco. The council have decentralised everything.
I do not have a car. It's all right that a bus goes to Hitchin once a week from the bus station. But as I live near the railway station and cannot walk up to the bus station, it doesn't help. The bus does not come to this part of the town.
I lived in Ware for 14 years and at least we had buses all over the place. I cannot afford to move back to Ware or Cheshunt.

I am 83-years-old trying to remain young. Where is affordable sheltered accommodation in Royston? I tried to get back to Cheshunt but couldn't afford it.
