THROUGH The Crow we would like to convey our thanks to all the generous people who gave donations to our collection in Royston town centre for the Stroke Association and Royston's Speak Out Stroke Club.
With assistance from members of the Royston Time Bank and our members we collected £161 in two hours.
Although a stroke in the third most common cause of severe disability and death, after heart attacks and cancer, there is fading support for specialist units, physiotherapy and speech threapy, so every penny given is vital for research and information funded by the Stroke Association.
