I am writing to express my anger at the letter from the lady who wrote in concerning the incident at Roman Way School (Portrayal of school had negative impact, Postbag February 11).
I am the mother of one of the children that went missing and what I had to go through as a parent that day was the worst and most sickening feeling in the world. I would seriously ask her to take a minute to think how she or any one else might have felt if the school, the police, and the teachers had not known where her child was.
The write up in The Crow was spot on, and it is now that the school are taking on extra security measures such as blocking the entrance to the field.
There was a meeting held at the school for parents to go and discuss issues such as this with them, and I know the lady who wrote in didn't attend.
