THERE seems to be an error in your report "Give us the facts on new bin collections" (The Crow, June 28).
North Herts District Council DID outline its plans for a change in waste collections to a number of Royston town councillors and other parish councillors in a recent presentation.
We will be repeating the exercise at our parish conference on July 12, and we have an open offer to come and talk to any town or parish council, or local organisation, to explain the changes and the reasons for them.
This is all part of our extensive communication campaign to prepare everyone for the changes in October, and the more people we talk to the better.
