YET another village facility is in jeopardy. This time it is across the great divide of the A603 when on March 29 Harlton's village shop closes and the post office within is the subject of temporary closure. Vic at 73 years of age believes that he is well beyond retirement age. Vic, and his wife Pat, the lady postmistress, have been there for 22 years and intend to stay on in their home. Here in Little Eversden, the Bishop of Huntingdon the Rt Rev John Inge will preach this Sunday morning during the 11am Thanksgving service for the completion of the restoration of St Helen's Church.
