A LONG discussion took place at the annual meeting of the Queens Road Parent Teacher Association on a proposition that the association should approach the education authorities with a view to the appointment of a parent on the Board of Managers.
The general feeling of the meeting, however, that such action would eventually lead to sectional differences within the Association and the proposition was defeated.
