THERE was an unusually high number of motors through Royston during the past fortnight, and it is a pleasure to notice that, as a rule, the drivers do exercise a good deal of discretion in passing down the narrow High Street and the more dangerous point at the Cross.
One motor the other Sunday, however, carried a party of tourists wildly through Royston at a pace of about 25mph.
