STUDENTS were given a horror show in a project on Gothic literature. The students from The Meridian School, Greneway and Roysia were learning about such characters as Frankenstein and Dracula. At the time, John Hansford, head of English at Greneway, said:

At the time, John Hansford, head of English at Greneway, said: "We were looking at how words were used to create atmosphere."
The project was part of English in the National Curriculum.
