He told members about Edward Henry pioneering the database of fingerprinting in 1901, and the difference in fingerprints.
Several members had their fingerprints taken from a glass to demonstrate the methods used.
Birthday cards went to Sheila Wilding, Barbara Robinson, Wendy Pearce, Pam Hunter, and Pat McGee.

The next meeting will be on October 23 when there will be a talk from the Phoenix Trading Greeting Cards.
Forget-Me-Not Club: Members have enjoyed a number of outings, including trips to Stratford-upon-Avon, Windsor and Sherringham.
Members also had their own harvest thanksgiving and a club birthday party at The Bull Hotel, Royston.
