Folk forms the focus for an important part of the bill at next month’s Balstock music festival, with a special stage reserved for aficionados of all things acoustic.
Hertfordshire’s biggest free music festival is set to rock into Baldock with no fewer than 234 bands, DJs, poets and comedians lined up to entertain over a single weekend.
Starring former ‘Allo! ‘Allo! favourite Arthur Bostrom, the show opens at the Gordon Craig Theatre on Tuesday, August 18.
Musical acts from Beds, Herts, Bucks and Cambs will perform at a new one-day music festival to help raise money for Sue Ryder’s St John’s Hospice at Moggerhanger – easily reached from the A1 by following the A603 to Bedford.
