Folk circuit favourites Fred’s House have just released a Christmas single – well, you can’t deny it’s the right time of year – and it’s sure to be on the playlist when they appear at Royston Folk Club on Friday night.

There will be no mince pie binges and other festive over-indulgence for members of a Letchworth drama group over the festive season – as soon as Boxing Day is behind us, they’ll be on stage performing a fast-paced seasonal show.
