THERE’S a chance to see live on stage in Hertford one of the only performing rock ’n’ roll pioneers in the world today.
Marty Wilde and The Wildcats will be appearing in concert at Hertford Theatre on Saturday, September 28.
Kim Wilde’s dad Marty began his career in 1957 and was one of the first British singers to play a leading part in those early formative and ground-breaking rock ‘n’ roll years.
Endless Sleep was his first top five hit in the summer of 1958. He reached number three in the charts the following year with single Donna, and A Teenager in Love went one place higher.
Marty also enjoyed top 10 singles with Sea of Love, Bad Boy and Rubber Ball.
With his many hits and a host of wonderful songs from that era, Marty and his fabulous band, The Wildcats, will take you on a journey through the late 1950s and early 60s.
A fantastic evening awaits as Marty and the band entertain you on this stunning musical rollercoaster.
Tickets for the show, which starts at 7.45pm, cost £19.50.
